Thirsty Thursday- Lynchburg Lemonade

This week is just flying by... but I don't mind. Id much rather it be the weekend, when I don't have to work or wake up early.

Well, we may as well kick off the weekend early... it is summer after all!

Today's Classic Cocktail is:

Lynchburg Lemonade

This classic cocktail is named after Lynchburg, Tennessee, which is home to the Jack Daniels distillery. The drink was created in 1980 by restaurant and lounge  owner Tony Mason, who also named it Lynchurg Lemonade. There was some controversy over the drink in the late 1980s, as Mason went to court against the Jack Daniels distillery, who were promoting the drink as there own. The court eventually ruled in Masons case, however instead of rewarding him the 13 million he as seeking, he got one dollar in nominal damages. Mason appealed this, and the result is unknown.
