Thirsty Thursday- Classic Margarita and Margarita Cupcakes!

Happy Thirsty Thursday. In the theme of for the love of blogs, today's recipe is for a margarita... but a classic margarita of course, as this is a vintage blog after all!!

Ingredients:
Tequila- 2 ounces
Cointreau- 1 ounce
Lime Juice - 1 ounce ( freshly squeezed is best)
And salt for the garnish

Direction:
Combine all the liquids in a shaker filled with ice.
Moisten the rim of a margarita glass with water or line juice, turn the glass upside down and dip into salt, to rim the entire glass.
Shake and strain the liquid into the glass
Viola! One Classic Margarita!

And of course you will need some vintage glasses, a shaker and perhaps a pitcher if your planning on getting wild. All these items were found under 'vintage' on Etsy.
