Thirsty Thursday- Manhattan



Today's retro cocktail is the Manhattan. I'm sure we have all heard of it, but how many of us actually know how to make it? After today, we all will!

The Manhattan is also know as "the drinking mans cocktail" and was invented in New York circa mid 1800's

I ounce Bulliet Bourbon
1/2 ounce sweet Vermouth
1 teaspoon maraschino cherry juice

Fill a shaker 3/4 full with ice
Add Bourbon, Vermouth, and Maraschino Cherry Juice
Shake. Strain. Serve with a maraschino cherry.

Delish!
